One person had to be extricated from a vehicle, and two others were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in Dickinson County Sunday afternoon.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened around 3:20 p.m. in the 3000 mile of Highway 9/71. Investigators say 41-year-old Roger Baltodano-Gutierrez of Estherville lost control of his vehicle and collided with a truck driven by 38-year-old Deja Daniels of Ceylon, Minnesota.
Spirit Lake Fire personnel extricated one individual from a vehicle. That person was flown to a Sioux Falls hospital. Two others were transported to Lakes Regional Healthcare.
The crash remains under investigation.
