Monday Crash Sends Four to Hospital

Four people were injured in a two-car crash east of Sioux Center Monday afternoon.  The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 2:52 pm, they were called to the scene on 410th Street, one mile east of Sioux Center.

Involved in the crash are 59-year-old Lynnette Reekers of Ireton, driver of an eastbound Ford Explorer and 18-year-old Quinn Master of George who was driving a Honda Accord northbound on Hickory Avenue.  The two vehicles collided in the intersection,

Reekers, Master, and two passengers in Master’s vehicle were taken to Sioux Center Health for treatment of their injuries.  The Ford sustained about $15,000 in damage; the Honda sustained approximately $4,000 in damage.

Reekers was cited for Failure to Yield upon entering Through Highway.
