Minnesota Man Charged in Orange City Burglary

Orange City, Iowa — A Minneapolis man has been arrested on a felony burglary warrant after an incident in Orange City in March.

According to a criminal complaint filed with the Sioux County Clerk of Court’s Office by the Orange City Police Department, on March 3rd, 2025, 31-year-old Kevin Wayne Terry of Minneapolis is accused of entering a business after hours with the intent of not paying for services rendered. He was arrested on Tuesday.

In his statement, the officer says Terry knowingly entered the structure of C&H Auto Body in Orange City, and took his keys for his vehicle from within the building. Terry then got into his vehicle, which was parked outside of the building, and left without paying C&H for the service they provided. The officer says the incident took place after C&H’s open business hours. He says an employee was present in the building and witnessed Terry enter the building.

Terry was charged with third-degree burglary, a class D felony.

Terry is scheduled for a June 17th preliminary hearing and arraignment on June 23rd.

At last report, Terry remained in the Sioux County Jail in Orange City in lieu of a $6,000 cash or surety bond.
