(KIWA) — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying two people of interest in connection with an incident in Larchwood.

According to the sheriff’s office, the two females were seen in a black, mid-2000s GMC Sierra in the Larchwood area between approximately 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, and midnight Wednesday, September 2.

The sheriff’s office has posted pictures of the two individuals, along with a map highlighting an area of Larchwood connected to the investigation.

Residents Asked to Check Property and Cameras

Anyone who lives or works within the area shown on the map is being asked to inspect their vehicles and property for missing items or anything that may have been disturbed.

Those with security cameras in the area should also review footage recorded during the half-hour time period. Deputies say video showing the individuals, the black GMC Sierra, or other activity that appears out of place could assist investigators.

The sheriff’s office has not released additional information about the incident or indicated whether anything has been reported missing.

Information Can Be Reported to Deputies

Anyone who recognizes either person shown in the photographs, or who has information or security video that may assist with the investigation, is asked to contact the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office at 712-472-8300.

Deputies are also reminding residents to secure their vehicles, homes, garages, and other property, particularly overnight.
