A report of loose cattle on Harrison Avenue northeast of Sioux Center led to the arrest of a Hull man. 35-year-old Juan Comacho of Hull was arrested Wednesday morning after an investigation of loose cattle led to the discovery of a rollover crash on Harrison Avenue.
After the discovery of the rolled vehicle, authorities investigating the crash discovered Camacho, driving a GMC Yukon struck a cow on the roadway, entered the ditch, and rolled. Deputies determined that Camacho’s driver’s license was barred and a sheriff’s office K9 alerted on the vehicle which led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia.
No injuries were reported, but Camacho’s GMC received about $7,500 in damage.
Camacho was taken to the Sioux County jail where he was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a barred driver’s license and possession of drug paraphernalia.
