The conference brings together employers, community leaders, economic development professionals, and others who work to source, train, and retain workforce in rural communities. Fred Hall, Northwest Iowa Extension Dairy Specialist for Iowa State University, lays out how the event benefits all Siouxland employers.
Speakers at the event include: Georgia Van Gundy, Deputy Director of Iowa Workforce Development; Dr. Jason Henderson, Vice President of Iowa State University Extension and Outreach; And Lee Dutfield, Development Specialist from Storm Lake.
After the speakers, a panel discussion will be held with industry professionals from Hy-Vee, Casey’s General Store, Sioux Center Health, and 5 other well-known Iowa companies. Hall explains how employers can learn from this panel.
