The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association has announced a new slate of officers.
Ted Poulsen has been selected as President and Chairman of the Board, with Kirk Webb named Vice President and Becky Brockmann serving as Secretary.
Poulsen says he is grateful for the opportunity to lead the statewide organization.
“I am honored and humbled to be elected to this position by the Board of Directors. I have been fortunate to personally witness the inspiration that the Association’s activities bring to musicians and youth in particular, and look forward to doing my best to help promote activities and programming which continue the Association’s important mission. Iowa is a place of great and varied musical talent and keen musical appreciation. Our shared musical journey deserves recognition, support, and inspiration.”
Outgoing President Ralph Kluseman will continue his involvement with the organization as its Goodwill Ambassador, advocating for the Association’s mission across Iowa. Kluseman has served on the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association Board of Directors since 2016.
“I am grateful for the time that I was given to be of service to this wonderful association. Now, looking forward to our 29th year as a statewide nonprofit 501 (c)(3), I’m going to continue to help in fulfilling our core mission as a Goodwill Ambassador. I also know the entire board is excited to have these new officers bring their expertise to our decision-making process.”
