Inwood Daycare Provider Sentenced in Child Endangerment Case

An Inwood woman has been sentenced following a 2022 investigation into two child endangerment incidents at her daycare.

27-year-old Hannah Olson was accused of injuring one child and delaying medical care for another. Authorities say a six-month-old in her care suffered abusive head trauma after Olson admitted to shaking the child in frustration.

In a separate case, a two-year-old sustained severe burns after his hand entered scalding water, and Olson waited more than three hours to report it.

Originally charged with two felony counts of child endangerment, Olson reached a plea deal and pleaded guilty to one aggravated misdemeanor count. She was sentenced to just under a year in jail—with all but 14 days suspended—placed on two years’ probation, and fined $855.
