Hull Pizza Ranch was recognized with one of the company’s highest honors during Pizza Ranch’s 2026 National Conference, while several other Northwest Iowa locations also received national recognition for sales growth, guest service, and record-setting performance.
The conference was held June 8-10 at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.
Hull Named Team of the Year
Hull Pizza Ranch received the company’s prestigious Team of the Year Award, which recognizes a restaurant team that demonstrates excellence in operations, guest service, community involvement, leadership, and commitment to Pizza Ranch’s mission and values.
According to Pizza Ranch, the award honors a team that consistently creates legendary guest experiences while fostering a culture of teamwork and servant leadership.
The Hull team was recognized for its performance throughout 2025, including its commitment to hospitality, community support, and operational excellence.
The honor comes in the community where Pizza Ranch was founded. The company’s first restaurant opened in Hull in 1981, making the Team of the Year recognition especially meaningful for the brand’s hometown location.
General Manager Jennifer Saavedra accepted the award alongside members of the Hull team during the conference.
“The Hull staff exemplifies the Pizza Ranch Way in many ways. They take great pride in our store. From spending hours cleaning, taking great care of our equipment, to striving to always get better scores on evaluations and audits,” Saavedra said. “I feel they are always doing their best and trying to get better.”
In addition to earning Team of the Year honors, Hull also finished fourth in the company’s Division 1 Sales Leader rankings.
Rock Rapids Earns Three Awards
The Rock Rapids Pizza Ranch was among the most recognized locations at the conference.
The restaurant earned first place in the Division 1 Percentage Sales Increase category, recognizing the largest year-over-year sales growth in its division. Rock Rapids also received first-place honors for Legendary Guest Service and finished second in the Division 1 Sales Leader category.
Other Area Locations Recognized
Several other Northwest Iowa Pizza Ranch restaurants also received recognition during the conference.
Sioux Center Pizza Ranch finished sixth in the Division 3 Sales Leader rankings and was recognized for achieving its best sales month ever during October 2025.
Rock Valley Pizza Ranch was honored for recording its best sales month ever in May 2025.
George Pizza Ranch also earned Best Month Ever recognition for May 2025, while Primghar Pizza Ranch received the distinction for July 2025.
Sheldon Pizza Ranch rounded out the area award winners with a sixth-place finish in the Division 2 Sales Leader category.
