The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Trevor Saarie of Hospers early Monday morning, October 20, following a reported domestic assault.
Deputies responded around 1:11 a.m. after receiving a call from a victim who said they had been pushed down stairs and choked by Saarie. Officers noted visible injuries consistent with the victim’s account.
Saarie was taken into custody by the multi-agency Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) and transported to the Sioux County Jail, where he was charged with Domestic Assault – Strangulation.
