Highway 75 is now open to local traffic from 9th Street South (Snieder Insurance intersection) through 2nd Street North (the Fruited Plain intersection).
The City of Sioux Center is asking trucks to continue using the truck route from 20th Street South to 13th Avenue East to 20th Street North.

The newly-opened section (pictured above) includes Highway 75 access to the Post Office, Sioux Center Public Library, Co-op Gas, Centre Mall, Beaver Eye Care, Lewis Drug, and more.
With underground work wrapped up under Highway 75 in downtown Sioux Center, the construction crew is doing mainline paving this week from north of 2nd Street North (Co-op Gas/Fruited Plain) past 5th Street North (Perspective Insurance).
Following paving the mainline, they will work on paving the turning lanes, medians, and connections to side streets. Crews will then be working on sidewalks, driveways, landscaping, lighting, and other items here, with the plan to have Highway 75 open to 2-way traffic for the winter in early November.
