Grassley’s Office to Hold Local Meetings

Sen. Chuck Grassley’s (R-Iowa) staff will hold traveling office hours in 12 counties from May 22 to May 23. Iowans seeking assistance with a federal agency or wishing to share their views may stop by during the scheduled hours listed below.

“For 45 years, I’ve made it a point to hold meetings in every county, every year. I can’t meet face-to-face with all three million Iowans, so in addition to mail and telephone communication, my staff holds traveling office hours to ensure my constituents’ concerns are heard and their problems are addressed,” said Grassley. “I encourage Iowans needing assistance to stop by during these upcoming traveling office hours to meet with my staff, or contact one of my offices.”

Senator Grassley will not be in attendance. He will be represented by his regional directors.

Regional Director Jacob Bossman will hold open office hours Thursday, May 22nd, from 12 Noon until 1:00 pm at the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce and again that same afternoon from 2:30 until 3:30 pm at the Paullina Community Building in Paullina.

Bossman will also be present the next day, Friday, May 23rd, from 9:45 until 10:45, in the Community Room at the Ashton State Bank in Ashton. Next stop on Friday will be at the Inwood Community Center from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm. Sioux County will be the next stop, at the Hawarden Public Library, 2:15 – 3:15 pm. The final Northwest Iowa stop will be in Plymouth County, 3:30- 4:30 pm at the Akron City Hall.

Full schedule details are available at Grassley’s website.
