Feenstra Highlights Property Taxes & Affordability Concerns During Gubernatorial Campaign

Fourth District Congressman Randy Feenstra says property taxes and the rising cost of living are among the top concerns he’s hearing from Iowans as he campaigns for governor.

In an interview with Sioux County Radio, Feenstra says many homeowners, particularly seniors, are struggling to keep up with rising property tax bills.

Feenstra, a Republican from Hull, says lowering those costs would be a priority if elected, along with addressing broader affordability concerns such as healthcare, insurance, and everyday expenses.

He says his campaign is also focused on strengthening Iowa’s economy, improving education, and expanding job opportunities to help keep young people in the state after graduation.

Feenstra has been traveling statewide, meeting with voters ahead of the June primary election.

He also pointed to the recent return of roughly 250 Iowa National Guard members, expressing appreciation for their service.
