Driver Injured in Rollover Crash South of Maurice

A South Carolina man was injured in a rollover crash Saturday evening south of Maurice.

According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at 5:32 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026, on Highway 75, about one mile south of Maurice.

Authorities say 33-year-old Brandon Hill of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, was driving a 1994 GMC Sierra K1500 northbound when he lost control of the vehicle, entered the east ditch, and rolled multiple times.

The GMC sustained an estimated $8,000 in damage.

Hill was transported to Sioux Center Health for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

He was cited for failure to maintain control, failure to provide financial responsibility, and failure to wear a seat belt.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Maurice First Responders and Sioux Center EMS.
The Sioux Center Police Department assisted with the investigation.

The accident remains under investigation.
