Dordt University has been ranked among the top colleges in Iowa in the newly released 2026 Best Colleges list from Research.com. Dordt ranks fourth in the state and 491st nationally, boasting strong scores in affordability, educational quality, and alumni outcomes.
Research.com analyzed data from over 6,000 institutions, ultimately ranking more than 1,700 colleges and universities using over 400 metrics from federal education databases and other sources.
Research.com data scientist Dr. Pawel Dabrowski says the goal is to give students and families a clear picture of what each university offers. Dordt admissions director Orrie Rodriguez says the recognition reflects the dedication of faculty and staff and the university’s Christ-centered mission.
Dordt also appeared on two additional lists — Most Popular Colleges in Iowa, where it ranked ninth, and Best Value Colleges in Iowa, where it ranked twelfth.
