Dordt University senior Noah Bronner has been awarded the $1,000 Sioux Center Municipal Utilities Scholarship, given annually to a Dordt student who is a customer of the city’s municipal power utility.
Sioux Center Utility Manager Murray Hulstein says the scholarship is part of the utility’s commitment to the community, saying, “We look for ways like this to give back to the community we serve.”
Bronner, a Sioux Center native majoring in accounting and business finance, plans to pursue CPA certification and work in a financial firm after graduation. He says the scholarship offers both practical help and motivation, saying, “I am deeply grateful for your investment in my future and the opportunities it makes possible.”
The recipient is selected each year by Dordt University.
