Dordt Reports Nearly 100 Percent Career Outcome Rate for 2025 Graduates

Dordt University says nearly all of its most recent graduates are already finding success in the next step of their careers.

Within six months of graduation, 99.7% of Dordt’s 2025 graduates were either employed or continuing their education, according to the university.

School leaders say that number reflects a consistent trend, with Dordt maintaining a career outcome rate above 99 percent for several years. Administrators point to strong alignment between academic programs and workforce needs as a key factor, noting that students are prepared to contribute immediately after graduation.

University officials also credit Dordt’s campus culture, where faculty and staff maintain close relationships with students both inside and outside the classroom. That engagement includes mentorship, as well as hands-on opportunities like internships, practicums, and career-focused travel experiences that help students apply what they learn in real-world settings.

Beyond academics, Dordt says involvement across campus, including student employment, residence life, and ministry opportunities, plays a role in shaping graduates. The university emphasizes a holistic approach that encourages students to think about how their careers connect to service and leadership.

Leaders say the outcome rate is not just about job placement, but about preparing students for long-term impact. Dordt’s mission, they say, focuses on equipping graduates to continue learning, build relationships, and serve their communities in meaningful ways.
