A Northwest Iowa man has been arrested and is facing dozens of felony charges alleging years of sexual abuse involving minors.
According to Lyon County court documents, 41-year-old Mark Boender of Doon was arrested on March 1st, 2026. He is charged with 51 offenses in Lyon County, including child endangerment, indecent contact with a child, sexual abuse, and lascivious acts with a child.
Court records allege the incidents occurred between 2014 and 2026. Authorities accuse Boender of sexually abusing multiple individuals, including several minors. Documents state the alleged victims ranged in age from 7 to 19 years old.
Boender has not entered a plea in the case. He is being held in the Lyon County Jail on a $356,000 bond.
His initial appearance is scheduled for Thursday, March 12th, at the Lyon County Courthouse.
The case remains pending.
