In-person Disaster Case Advocacy assistance in Sioux County will end on Friday, October 31, 2025. That date also marks the final day the program will accept new cases related to the June 2024 storms that affected communities across northwest Iowa.
Residents still needing help with storm-related recovery are urged to contact a Disaster Case Advocate before the deadline. Advocates can help residents navigate FEMA, insurance, and SBA processes, apply for aid, identify new resources, and create personalized recovery plans, including home repair or rebuild strategies.
