Diamond Vogel and Keep Iowa Beautiful are continuing their longtime partnership through the Paint Iowa Beautiful program, which provides free paint for community improvement projects across the state.
The program supports efforts like restoring park shelters, preserving historic landmarks, updating main street façades, and creating public murals. Thousands of gallons have been donated over the years to help communities maintain public buildings, facilities, and parks.
“Keep Iowa Beautiful is honored to continue our partnership with Diamond Vogel,” said Executive Director Andy Frantz. “We’re proud to support Iowans working to make their towns more beautiful places to live, work, and play.”
Over 22 years, Diamond Vogel has supplied enough paint to cover more than five million square feet for 1,651 projects. This year, 87 grants were awarded, with most recipients receiving between 5 and 10 gallons.
Applications for the 2026 grant cycle are due February 12, with details available on Keep Iowa Beautiful’s website.
