Law enforcement officers are investigating a death at a Sheldon hotel.
Sheldon Police Chief Scott Burtch says that the Sheldon Police Department received a call of a deceased person at the Holiday Inn Express on Wednesday. He says the death is currently under investigation with the assistance of the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
Burch says they don’t believe the public is in any danger and says they will provide updates when information is available.
