Crash Near Hull Sends One to Hospital Wednesday

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash late Wednesday morning at the intersection of Highway 75 and 310th Street, about two miles west of Hull.

Authorities say 45-year-old Jeremy Ironfield of Rock Valley was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox westbound on 310th Street when he failed to yield from the stop sign and attempted to cross Highway 75. His vehicle collided with a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 25-year-old Seth Rozeboom of Lennox, South Dakota.

Ironfield was transported by the Hull Ambulance to Hegg Health Center in Rock Valley for treatment of injuries. Rozeboom and a passenger in his vehicle reported minor injuries but declined further medical attention.

Both vehicles sustained an estimated $10,000 in damage.

Ironfield was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign and failure to use a seat belt.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Hull Fire Department, Hull Ambulance, Sioux Center Ambulance, and the Iowa State Patrol.
