Iowa 4th District Congressman Randy Feenstra has officially launched his campaign for governor.
In his campaign announcement, Feenstra, a Dordt University graduate, highlighted his small-town roots and deep ties to Hull, where he was born, raised, and still lives.
In a recent interview with Sioux County Radio, Feenstra outlined his priorities and vision should he decide to run for governor.
In his campaign launch video, Feenstra is highlighted for his partnership with President Donald Trump to deliver federal tax relief, his efforts to protect women’s sports, lower taxes for working families, and to keep China from buying Iowa farmland. Also in the recent interview with Sioux County Radio, Feenstra expanded on his concerns with healthcare.
Feenstra also used his launch video to criticize Democratic State Auditor Rob Sand, who is also running for governor. The ad labels Sand a “radical liberal,” accusing him of backing higher taxes, weak border policies, and progressive social issues that Feenstra argues don’t reflect Iowa’s values.
