The City of Hull is warning residents about a scam text message circulating in the community that appears to link to a local issues survey.
City officials say several residents have reported receiving a text claiming to be a “quick local Hull issues survey,” which includes a link to a Qualtrics web form.
However, the City of Hull says the message did not come from the city or the Hull Chamber of Commerce.
In a statement, the city says it does not know where the message originated and is urging residents not to click the link.
City officials say the message should be considered spam and potentially harmful.
Residents who receive the message are advised to delete it and avoid opening the link.
