Nearly two years ago, the Casey’s General Store in Hull was destroyed by a fire that started in a storeroom behind the kitchen. Last September, one year after the fire, Casey’s broke ground at the same location for the new store.
Casey’s Director of Communications and Community, Katie Petru, says the new store is almost ready for customers, and an opening date has been set for next week.
The new store totals 3,219 square-feet and will offer a three-gasoline pump island outside, allowing up to six vehicles to fuel at the same time. The fuels offered include the standard 87 with ethanol and a full range of non-ethanol fuel types, from 87 to 91 octane, along with biodiesel. Inside, the new store will have Casey’s handmade pizza, breakfast and bakery items, a full-service free-brewed coffee station, and more. The new Hull Casey’s will open Thursday, February 15.
