California Man Arrested For Theft

A California man was arrested Friday in Hospers after someone was reported using fraudulent credit card numbers.  The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated the incident at the OK One Stop in Hospers where 47-year-old Zohrab Zoro Hovhannisyan from Glendale California tried using bad credit card numbers to steal fuel.

During the investigation, authorities learned Hovhannisyan, a truck driver picking up loads in the area, had been using fraudulent credit card numbers to purchase diesel fuel totaling $998.

Hovhannisyan was taken to the Sioux County Jail and charged with theft.  He was released after posting a $2,000 bond.
