A Boyden teen died in a crash in Rock Valley early Sunday morning. The Rock Valley Police Department responded to the call of a single car accident at the intersection of Fairway Drive and Golf Course Road in Rock Valley. The investigation revealed the vehicle failed to make a turn at the intersection and struck a tree.
18-year-old Walter Lee Wynia of Boyden was pronounced dead at the scene, a juvenile passenger received minor injuries. The accident is still under investigation. Damage from the accident is estimated at $50,000.
