O’Brien County Sheriff Bruce Devereaux says a 911 call came in shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3rd, reporting that a man had been shot at a home on Yew Avenue, east of Hartley.
First responders found the victim, identified as 50-year-old Robert Leroy Peters Jr. of Hartley, with a gunshot wound to the head.
