Dordt University’s annual ‘While We Were Out’ art exhibit is now on display in the Campus Center Art Gallery through September 29. This year’s showcase features 64 unique works across photography, painting, ceramics, woodworking, quilting, jewelry, digital art, videography, and illustration.

The exhibit highlights creativity from across the Dordt community — including students, employees, alumni, and even employee family members. Professor David Platter says the collection ‘reflects the Imago Dei — The Image of God… as image‑bearers, we have been created and called to create.’

A public reception recognizing the artists will be held Thursday, September 24 at 7 p.m. in the gallery, and everyone is welcome to attend.
