Weather continues to cause planting delays for Indiana farmer

A central Indiana farmer says despite rain delays, his soybeans are about 50% planted, and corn is about 25% planted.

Mark Legan says the weather has been his biggest challenge this spring. “Even on some of the days at the beginning of the month when the ground may have been suitable for planting, there were cold temperatures or the threat of cold temperatures in the future, and that caused us to hold off,” he says.
