Rep. Nunn discusses farm bill delays, remains optimistic

U.S. Congressman Zach Nunn says he’s concerned about the lack of movement on the next farm bill.

“What I don’t want to see is a farm bill that potentially could expire 60 days before a presidential election. D.C. doesn’t get a lot done on a good day. I can’t imagine what it would not be able to get done 60 days before the election.”

The Iowa Republican tells Brownfield lawmakers need to avoid cuts to critical farm safety net programs.
