Missouri’s Director of Agriculture says the availability of over-the-top dicamba for soybeans and cotton beyond 2024 is a concern for many farmers.
Chris Chinn tells Brownfield “They’re very concerned about what their options might be moving forward. They’re hoping EPA will make a timely decision on the new label that’s been submitted to them by the manufacturers of the dicamba product.”
Chinn says farmers would like to see a decision from the EPA by October so farmers can adjust their herbicide plans for 2025, if necessary.
