Nonfat dry milk surges while cheese, butter hold steady at CME

Cash dairy prices were mixed Tuesday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.     Dry whey was down $0.0025 to $0.69. No sales were reported.  Forty-pound cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.56. Three sales were reported ranging from $1.55 to $1.5625.  Cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.5475. No sales were reported.  Butter was unchanged at $1.4850. No sales were reported.  Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0450 to $1.57. Ten sales were reported ranging from $1.55 to $1.57.
