New Gene Discovery Could Help Soybeans Fight SCN

Scientists have identified a gene, GM SNAP 14, that plays a key role in how soybean plants respond to SCN infection. The Director of Licensing and Commercialization, Bryan Stobaugh, says the findings from checkoff-funded research turn a costly problem into something farmers can better control.

Cash dairy higher except cheese Tuesday

Cash dairy prices were  higher except for cheese Tuesday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.     Dry whey was up $0.0050 at $0.7075.  One sale was recorded at that price.  Forty-pound cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.6525.  No sales were recorded.
