Nebraska farmer discusses price and availability of ag inputs

Northeast Nebraska farmer Greg Anderson says the availability of ag inputs hasn’t been much of an issue this growing season.

“I’ve been able to get virtually everything that I have needed and desired for my first choice,” he said.

But he tells Brownfield prices remain elevated. “Costs are still pretty high for Nebraska farmers and farmers across the country. We’re going to need some good yields and hopefully get a bounce in these (commodity) prices to make a profit.”
