Missouri kicked of its June Dairy Month celebration with a milk toast.
Missouri’s dairy industry contributes more than $2.1 billion to the state’s economy. Chris Chinn, Missouri’s Director of Ag says it’s something to celebrate.
“We’re really happy to help promote the hard work of our Missouri dairymen and women who work hard every single day to make sure we have a wholesome nutritious dairy product on the grocery store shelf.”
Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe proclaimed June as dairy month on behalf of the governor, at Central Dairy earlier this week.
