Minnesota farmer “not holding my breath” on farm bill getting done this year

Northern Minnesota farmer Theresia Gillie is one of many producers anxious to see progress on the farm bill.

“I am not going to hold my breath on that getting done this year, I just want to make sure as a top priority that they do everything in their power to protect crop insurance because that’s our real risk management tool.”

She tells Brownfield she’s also concerned about regulations limiting the availability of crop protection tools.
