IL Milk Producers providing for less fortunate

The Illinois Milk Producers Association is helping to fight food insecurity in the state.

Mark Tuttle, IMPA board member and northern Illinois farmer, says they’ve been able to donate over 17,000 pounds of milk to three regional food banks.

“I could not believe the need that has developed.”  He says, “They told us what the pre-COVID numbers were, and then shortly after COVID and everything opened back up again, it almost doubled.
