H5N1 has been detected in a second Iowa dairy herd.

The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship says the case is in northwest Iowa’s Sioux County, and Ag Secretary Mike Naig calls the virus a significant threat to livestock and to the livelihoods of the farmers who care for them.
