A southern Ohio farmer says farmers in his area have had some decent planting windows, despite a wet start to the spring.
Eric Tipton says he’s optimistic for this year’s crop.
“We’ve kind of hit a stretch here where it rains every couple of days and it’s hard to get on a really good rhythm,” he said. “But, the crops that we do happen to have in the ground are really starting to flourish just because of a nice rain every couple of days.”
Tipton tells Brownfield while his crops are planted, progress varies in his area around Fayette County.
