FARMER Act would strengthen crop insurance

New legislation in the U.S. House would strengthen risk management tools for farmers.

Minnesota Republican Brad Finstad says the Federal Agriculture Risk Management Enhancement and Resilience, or FARMER Act, increases premium support for higher levels of crop insurance and provides an additional level of protection under the Supplemental Coverage Option (SCO).
