A researcher says early claw lesion detection can improve sow productivity. Speaking to Brownfield during the World Pork Expo in Des Moines last week, Dr. Lucas Rodrigues with Zinpro said some of the earliest signs are heel overgrowth and erosion in white lines.

Cash dairy prices were mixed Tuesday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.     Dry whey was up $0.0050 to $0.6975. No sales were reported.  Forty-pound cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.6050. No sales were reported.  Cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.5475. No
