Cash dairy prices start May mostly steady

Cash dairy prices were mostly steady on Friday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.     Dry whey was unchanged at $0.6975.  No sales were recorded.  Forty-pound cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.64.  Four sales were recorded, ranging from $1.63 to $1.6450.
