Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of hotter-than-normal weather nationwide, except for near-normal temperatures along and near the Canadian border from northeastern Montana to northern New England. Meanwhile, near- or above-normal rainfall across most of the country should contrast with drier-than-normal conditions across Florida’s peninsula.
