CME cash dairy market steady to higher Friday

CME cash dairy market steady to higher Friday

Cash dairy prices were steady to higher in light trading activity Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. 

Dry whey was up $0.0175 at $0.47.  Two sales were recorded at $0.46 and $0.47. 

The cheese market was quiet Friday. Forty-pound cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.8450.   No sales were recorded. 

Cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.9550.  No sales were recorded. 

Butter gained back most of Thursday’s losses, up $0.0425 at $3.0925.
