Central Iowa farmer anticipates replanting

Heavy rains the first two weeks of May could result in replanting.

Central Iowa corn and soybean grower Corey Hillebo says he feels like he’s in a good spot with planting winding down.

“But a lot of ponds out there. So I’ve already been on the phone getting some replant seed coming (because) we know there’s going to be replant.”

He’s anticipating around five percent of his acres will need to be replanted.
