Cattle futures mixed on Monday

Chicago Mercantile Exchange live and feeder cattle futures were mixed, watching the distribution of this week’s show list. August live cattle was up $.42 at $178.87 and October was $.10 higher at $180.90. August feeders were down $.20 at $256.20 and September was $.25 lower at $257.87.

Cash cattle country had a typical day for a Monday with bids and asking prices not established. Significant trade volume will likely be delayed until the second half of the week.
