Cash dairy steady to higher Friday except butter

Cash dairy prices were steady to higher again Friday except for butter at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.    Dry whey was up $0.01 at $0.66. No sales were recorded.  Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0175 at $1.53.  Three sales were recorded, ranging from $1.51 to $1.53.  Cheese barrels were up $0.0175, also closing at $1.53.  No sales were recorded.  Butter was down $0.0050 at $1.8475.  Seven sales were recorded, ranging from $1.8450 to $1.8525.  Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.7650. No sales were recorded.
