Cash dairy prices were lower on Wednesday except for block cheese at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Dry whey was down $0.0075 at $0.6825. One sale was recorded at that price. Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0375 at $1.57. Twenty-one sales were recorded, ranging from $1.5325 to $1.57. Cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.5150. No sales were recorded. Butter was down $0.05 at $1.55, falling nine cents in two days. Twenty-six sales were recorded, ranging from $1.55 to $1.58. Nonfat dry milk was down 0.0450 at $2.21. No sales were recorded.
