Cash dairy prices were mostly lower on Wednesday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Dry whey remained unchanged at $0.64. One sale was recorded at that price. Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.04 at $1.51. Three sales were recorded, ranging from $1.5075 to $1.52. Cheese barrels were down $0.0575 at $1.5125. No sales were recorded. Butter was down $0.0425 at $1.8525, sixteen cents lower than Monday’s close. Forty sales were recorded, ranging from $1.82 to $1.87. There were also twenty-six unaccepted bids. Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0150 at $1.7225. No sales were recorded.
